The Mueller family began in the industry in 1979 at The Bluebird Café in Cherry Creek. A wildly successful breakfast and lunch located at the corner of 3rd. avenue and Josephine. This is where owner Michael Mueller learned the value of serving great food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We like our guests to feel as though they are dining in our home, members of our family. All of our family recipes, handed down over generations, are still in use today at The Cozy Cottage. 30 years of experience blending the tried and true with industry trends is how we do our breakfast and lunch today. The Cozy Cottage came into being in 2006 as a collaboration between entrepreneur Jeanette Mueller and her son Michael. Yes! We are in compliance with the most up-to-date law from the city of Denver to allow your fur-babies to dine with you. If your dog is a service animal you can dine in any part of our restaurant (inside or out). If your dog is not a service animal we have designated a section of our patio specifically to accommodate you. Please note: bringing your dog to breakfast/lunch with you limits your seating availability and in turn may (and often times does) extend your wait time if we are on a wait.
Street parking is available on Tennyson street on a first-come basis. The neighborhoods surrounding Tennyson street also frequently accommodate additional parking needs. Please note: it may take you some time to find parking on busier days. Please plan accordingly, especially if you have a reservation.
